Biography 

Joey Medeiros is a gifted, exciting young musical artist. Listeners: prepare to be amazed by his wide range of exceptional musical capabilities—Joey is a skilled singer and composer. Although Joey enjoys a wide variety of musical genres, from traditional songs to modern techno beats, he specializes in Portuguese music, both traditional and modern.

Joey was born on January 7, 1992, in San Jose, California. He was a good natured child who learned from observing and taking part in the activities around him. His musical career started at the young age of 3, when he would enthusiastically sing along with the radio. By listening to and singing the songs on the radio, he learned two things. First, he discovered his love and talent for music. Second, he learned to speak the Portuguese language fluently.

Soon, people outside of Joey's family were able to enjoy his talent and charisma. By the age of 9, Joey had an agent. At this point in his life, he did some television and print work. To this day, Joey is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild.

Although Joey is a talented actor, he has decided to put his acting on hold to pursue his real dream—recording an album. Romarias, released November 2007, is the result of Joey's hard work and innate talent. All of the tracks feature Joey singing in Portuguese. This CD also demonstrates Joey's incredible composition skills.

One of Joey's long term goals is to be an on-stage performer. He has already exhibited his talent for live performance by entertaining at the Portuguese Festas.

Joey's love for music is present in all aspects of his life. He spends much of his free time in his studio, where he enjoys singing, composing, and playing his keyboards and several other instruments.
